Hachette from Shot Darts’ Future Knights range is a full-on rear-weighted beast for players who love serious grip and power. This 90% tungsten, titanium-coated barrel combines an extended shark-grip nose, a brutally detailed mid section and a stacked shark rear grip, all flowing into a long black point and Tefo carbon shaft setup.
Max describes it as one of the grippiest darts he’s ever used: every section of the barrel has angled, shark-style rings and concave channels that pull your fingers into the grooves and lock them there, yet with a surprisingly clean release once he relaxed his throw.
On the practice board he actually had to slow his arm down and lighten his grip to stop yanking them into the 12s, but once he adjusted, the Hatchet delivered – he completed his 201 routine in just seven darts, with tight grouping and a really solid, driving entry angle.
If you’re the kind of player who wants maximum control, loads of bite under the fingers and a rear-biased barrel that really lets you hit through the board, this is exactly the sort of premium, heavily milled dart that will feel made for you.
