The Winmau MvG Signature Edition looks like a really versatile “player’s parallel” barrel. The full-length grip and centre balance mean it shouldn’t matter too much whether you’re a front, middle or rear gripper – you’ll still be working with the same atom-style texture all the way along. That’s ideal for club players who like to experiment with hand position, or who naturally shift their grip under pressure.
The medium grip level is a smart choice here on these MvG Signature Edition darts. The round grooves and shot-blast give you a positive feel without locking your fingers in place, so you should get a clean release and that classic MvG “direct” flight through the board. Combined with the parallel shape, these ought to group really nicely when you find your line.
We haven’t put the MvG Signature Edition darts through a full Darts Reviews TV throw session yet, but based on the spec and design, this looks like a proper “match night” dart for players who want a modern MvG barrel without going into extreme grip or wild scallops.
