The Mission Samurai 4 Graphite Edition is a really smart evolution of the already–popular Samurai 4. Visually it looks much sleeker than the original thanks to the graphite-coloured number ring and black wiring, which tone down the distractions around the outside and help your eye stay locked on the scoring segments. On the wall it has that proper “pro setup” look without being too flashy.
In testing, it plays like a softer championship board – darts sink in nicely, even with aggressive grip points, and group really well in the trebles and bull. The 20s held up impressively after a long, peppering session, with no big chunks of sisal pulling out and only light marking. The green and outside double segments show wear a little more clearly (like most boards), but the fibres still recovered well with no real “bald spots.”
If you’re happy to rotate your board regularly, the Samurai 4 Graphite should comfortably give you months of solid use at home or in a club environment. The combination of thin black wiring, deep-set bull and adjustable feet make it a really nice all-round choice in the current “pro” dartboard market.

The Mission Samurai 4 Graphite Edition is a very solid “pro feel” board with a softer sisal bed, thin black wiring, and a modern graphite number ring that looks great on camera and in the dart room. It takes a pounding on the 20s without tearing up badly, heals well even with aggressive points, and the adjustable feet plus standard bracket make it straightforward to hang and level. If you like a slightly softer board that grips the dart nicely and you’re happy to rotate it regularly, the Samurai 4 Graphite is a strong alternative to the other big-name pro boards – and that darker outer ring is a really nice bonus if you find white wires and rings too distracting.
