The Legend Evolution B14 is a really solid “no-nonsense” dart that quietly does everything right. With its slightly front-weighted feel, classic ring grip and rear taper, it gave Gav noticeably more control than a lot of other barrels he’s tried on the channel.
The front section uses deep, wide square-cut rings, so there’s plenty for the fingers to bite into without feeling gimmicky or over-engineered, and that simple smooth mid-section into a tapered rear grip makes it easy to find a consistent hold.
On the board, both Gav and Max settled into them pretty quickly. Max opened his highlights with a clean 140, and Gav answered with his own 140 plus that almost-three-tops moment that only just missed because of a Robin Hood. The dart feels a touch thicker than the numbers suggest because the front is the widest point, but once you’re used to the balance it offers a nice, honest release. With 90% tungsten, a sensible 21g/23g weight range and a price point of £39.95, these sit perfectly in that “serious starter / upgrade from brass” sweet spot – ideal for new players and improving throwers who want a grippy, front-leaning barrel without breaking the bank.
