The Datadart Eiros is one of those darts that looks much simpler at first glance than it actually feels in the hand.
The front starts with a black coated point, then a rounded radial / balloon-style nose with a short ring section. After that, the grip builds through a few clearly different areas. The first front section uses very wide grooves with narrow pointed rings, which Max said felt surprisingly grippy despite not looking like much on paper. Then the barrel moves into more conventional square-cut ring sections, before changing again into a slightly different rear pattern with wider-spaced rings.

On the board, Max got on with them pretty well. He completed the routine in nine darts, said the scallop was in exactly the right place for him, and felt the dart flew through the air really nicely. His only real concern was the overall length once the full setup was on.
At £55.95 at Premier Darts, it sits a bit above the original review quote of £45.95, but for a 90% tungsten dart with multiple grip styles and a properly distinctive look, it still feels like a sensible price.
