In this video we’ve been throwing the Mission Jack Tweddell 95% tungsten darts, and from the moment we got them out of the box they looked like a really tidy “up-and-coming player” setup. The box has a really nice celestial vibe – constellations and a kind of moon/sundial theme – with a full image of the dart across the front and the 24g / 95% tungsten spec clearly marked. On the back, that same starry pattern continues with a full dart image and a short Mission write-up introducing Jack as one of their rising players.
Inside, Mission use their usual velvet-covered plastic insert. It’s not some huge presentation case, but it does exactly what we need it to do: barrels locked into the point holder with the three stems and Jack Tweddell flights held firmly in place.
Once we pulled a barrel out, it was obvious these are built as a proper full-length grip player dart. There’s a black coated point, a smooth, slightly conical nose section, and then straight into a grip that runs virtually the whole length of the barrel. That’s a big plus for us – it means it genuinely doesn’t matter whether you’re a front, mid, or rear gripper, you’ve always got the same feel under the fingers.
The main grip is a ring grip with lateral grooves running through it. Between each of the slightly wider main rings, there are two narrower rings, so you get that staggered “twin ring + single ring” pattern. Towards the back, around the etched Mission logo, there’s a little section of micro ring grip as well, which tightens the pattern up even more. The overall finish is clean silver tungsten, paired with short black Mission Sabre stems and blue-and-black Jack Tweddell flights, so they look properly modern without being over the top.
In the hand, it’s a classic straight, centre-weighted barrel. At 24g, the barrel is 55 mm long and 6.2 mm wide, so it’s a decent-length, relatively slim straight barrel. That gives us plenty of room for stacking around the treble without feeling like we’re throwing something spindly or too thin to grip.

We really like that the grip runs right from just behind the nose all the way to the rear.

The Review
Jack Twedell Mission Darts
These Jack Tweddell darts are exactly what we hope for from a Mission player barrel: 95% tungsten, straight, centre-balanced and grippy from nose to rear. Gav got on a lot better with these than he does with smoother parallels, knocking in steady tons and a nice 140 in just a few minutes. Max liked how consistent they felt wherever he held them and how the lateral grooves gave that extra little “bite” without feeling harsh. If you like a straight barrel and want a proper full-length grip that works for front, mid and rear grippers, we honestly think these are a cracking option – especially at this price point.
