The Mission Lex Paeshuyse darts are a really classic “player’s dart” – straight barrel, clean ring grip, and that bold blue-black finish that stands out without being over the top. They’re designed around a simple, predictable feel rather than crazy machining, which is exactly why they’ll suit a huge chunk of players.
With a slightly grippy front section and a longer main grip zone through the middle and rear, they’re easy to line up in your fingers the same way every time. They’re not super aggressive in the hand, so you’re not fighting the barrel or getting stuck on release – ideal if you hate really sharp, cutty darts.
For Lex-style throwers who like a straight, centre-balanced dart with just enough bite but not too much, these make a lot of sense. At under £50 for a 90% tungsten player dart, they’re also in a very accessible price bracket.
The Review
Lex Paeshuyse Mission Darts
The Lex Paeshuyse darts are built around reliability rather than gimmicks: a straight 90% tungsten barrel, a simple ring grip pattern, and a centre balance that feels natural in the hand. Max highlighted that the grip is very consistent along the barrel, so it feels familiar no matter where you hold it, and it doesn’t grab so hard that you start yanking darts into the board. For Gav, the small front grip zone made them a bit harder to find the “sweet spot” as a pure front-gripper, but once he settled, he was hitting big visits including that 162 on triple 18s. Max, who prefers this kind of straight, medium-grip dart, found them extremely playable and would happily tweak the setup (slightly smaller flights) and keep throwing them.
